Cobb Galleria Centre

The Cobb Galleria Centre is renowned for being one of its nations leading convention centres having successfully hosted more than 10,000 events over the past decade. Situated in Atlanta, Georgia the Cobb Galleria Centre is around 20 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and just 10 minutes from the bustling city of Atlanta itself. Boasting 88 acres of landscaped grounds the Cobb Galleria Centre is the perfect venue for any event no matter what the occasion.

Construction on the Cobb Galleria Centre started in 1992 and took two years to complete with the centre eventually opening in 1994. It is located on the corner of the interstates I-75 and I-285 which is also (and more famously) known as the Platinum Triangle. The Cobb Galleria Centre's many facilities include 144,000 square feet of exhibition space, a 25,000 square feet ballroom and a 3,600 square feet gallery. The Cobb Galleria Centre has a total meeting space of 20,000 square feet including 4 executive board rooms and 20 large meeting rooms. The Cobb Galleria Centre is connected directly to the four-star Renaissance Waverly Hotel and Galleria Specialty Mall and is also accessible via a pedestrian skybridge from the Sheraton Suites Galleria Hotel and Cumberland Mall.

Combining all of the above the Cobb Galleria Centre covers 320,000 square feet and includes all the necessary amenities needed to hold a successful, productive and enjoyable event. Amenities include concierge, an executive business centre, shipping and signage, coat and baggage checking, flowers, shopping, dining, entertainment, transportation (including a dedicated airport shuttle service) and an ambassador greeter program. The Cobb Galleria Centre is an impressive venue with state-of-the-art technology including a fiber optic network infrastructure with a T-1 speed internet connection. Video conferencing, LAN Internet access and Wi-Fi access is available upon request. The venue is situated within walking distance of many restaurants varying from fast food to fine cuisine and it is a great location for shopping and entertainment. The Cumberland Mall is a very large shopping mall that opened on the 8th of August 1973 and was the largest of its kind at the time. It is currently undergoing an $80 million renovation adding another 77,000 square feet. As well as the impressive Cumberland Mall there are also a few other neighbouring attractions including the Lost Mountain Park and Silver Comet Trail. The totally unique Lost Mountain Park is situated north of Atlanta city. The name 'Lost Mountain' refers to the how the mountain in the park seems to disappear as you get closer. The park consists of two lakes and thick forest. Hiking trails and picnic facilities are available and pets are always welcome as long as they remain on their leads. Lost Mountain Park is a great fishing spot. The Silver Comet Trail is a paved recreational trail that is about 57 miles in length that weaves and winds through the north Georgia countryside. The trail begins in Georgia at the South Cobb Drive and East-West Connector intersection and goes all the way up to the border of Alabama. Expect tall pine trees, gushing rivers and plenty of beautiful scenery.
